DO NOT LOSE YOUR HEAD
Do not lose your head when you are faced with challenges or when you are making that three hundred and sixty degrees turn.
You can lose anything when you are trying to build holistically (Spiritually, physically, socially, financially or emotionally) but whatever you are going to lose make sure you don’t lose your head.
During that turn is when your head should be up and thinking with clarity, it is when you are to put on the full armour of God.
There is not one person in this world that is not under a kind of attack.
No matter how favoured or blessed you are, no matter how rich or healthy you may be, you will have to face the test of life.
It is either you are currently being attacked or about to be attacked in an area of your life.
God is ready to bless you, but you also have to be well dressed for the battle, you have to be dressed up in the full amour of God to win the fight.
With every blessing comes a battle and the greater the blessing, the greater the battle.
The enemy will not aim at you or send that level of battle if you do not have the corresponding level of blessing.
The level of battle or attack that you face indicates the level of blessings that you are awaiting to receive.
Not thief steals from an empty storehouse. So if you are under any form of attack whether spiritually, financially, socially, physically or psychologically, it is because there is something that you can gain and live for in that area.
Putting on the whole armour of God means that you are prepared to deal with the deceitful plans and tactics of the enemy (Satan).
When you are dressed in the armour of God which is the word of God (Jesus), you are to stand. Warriors don’t equip themselves to run, they equip themselves ready to face war.
You are to dress in the strength of God which is in the armour of God, you are to stand for the fight and after winning, you are to keep standing firm and positioned because the enemy does not flee that easy.
You have your possession guaranteed by God but you have to possess your possession. It is like a reality show to hunt for treasures, or let us say an army boot camp, if you do not pass the first level of training which will be a struggle, you cannot move on to the next level.
Even though everyone is running an individual race to finish, it is the survival of the fittest.
The fittest is not the mightiest, the fittest is the one whose mind is well balanced, able to withstand all level of trials,.
The fittest is the one who allows his/her head to be covered with the anointing of God.
To win every level of trail in life, you need the word of God. It is your helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit.
The weapons we use are not human ones. Our weapons have power from God and can destroy the enemy’s strong places. We destroy people’s arguments and we tear down every proud idea that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We also capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.
Your mind is where the battlefield begins. You have to fight every argument, which is every imagination that is different from your knowledge of God.
And what is the knowledge of God? It is the word of God. So the fight will be to hold into captivity, the negative thoughts contrary to the word of God.
For instance, when the word of God says that you are healed and you begin to have symptoms of a disease, by the power of God which is the word of God, you can go against that thought, rebuking the illness.
After all if God says that you are healed and free, you are healed and free indeed but you have to believe it to receive it.
To sum it up, the enemy comes only to attack your mind and to stop you from believing what God has promised you, such as healing and whatever you are hoping to receive from God, and if you do not believe that you have something, you cannot receive it.
Some of our battles are thoughts of maybe and what if which cause anxiety, depression and other mental illnesses.
The reason why some people are unable to do things and be who God has created them to be are that they are afraid of something or having emotions towards something.
Emotions are derived from thoughts and if you can deal with what you are thinking about, you can deal with almost anything.
This does not mean that some negative thoughts will not come.
They will keep coming, but if you can hold them captive and disregard these thoughts and replace them with what God is saying in the scriptures, you will win every battle at every level, not by your strength but by the strength of God.
The word of God which is the helmet of salvation is what will protect you from losing your head.
The worst thing someone can do to people is to make them lose their head. If you do not want to lose your head to this world, you had better cover it with the anointing of God.
