Coarse Joke
Keep your thoughts and what you say meaningful and clean. Avoid cheap talks that will cause you or the people around you to sin.
You will be held accountable on the day of judgement for every word that comes out of your mouth so be mindful.
What does the Holy Bible say about what we say?
But now put away and rid yourselves [completely] of all these things: anger, rage, bad feeling toward others, curses and slander, and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances from your lips!
Let there be no filthiness (obscenity, indecency) nor foolish and sinful (silly and corrupt) talk, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting or becoming; but instead voice your thankfulness [to God].
Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God’s favor) to those who hear it.
He who guards his mouth keeps his life, but he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.
But I tell you, on the day of judgment men will have to give account for every [a]idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak.
And the tongue is a fire. [The tongue is a] world of wickedness set among our members, contaminating and depraving the whole body and setting on fire the wheel of birth (the cycle of man’s nature), being itself ignited by hell .
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].
Prayer
