GOALS: Part One


Goals are set for a reason, they are set because they are desired and because we need to achieve something at the end. Goals can be anything, They can be changing an eating pattern to losing weight, it could also be just building yourself to becoming a project manager to owning your own business.

You have to give something to your goal to achieve that goal. You have to give perhaps your time, energy and a little bit more of what you already give.

Goals take a process. To achieve a goal, you have to sit down to plan, then you have to implement your plan, and then you have to appraise yourself and evaluate your goal to see if your plan has been effective.

Only people who have successfully achieved certain goals are able to share their experiences as well as nurture other people who need growth and development in such areas.

Achieving a goal can sometimes be challenging. Setting a goal plan is not enough to make one achieve his or her dreams, you need more than your goals, you need your inner strength. Your inner strength is that which will help you build yourself when everything seems to be falling apart.

Sometimes you just have the urge to drop a goal plan that you have already started implementing. Is that not a waste of time? Other times you just want to keep going on. This can be a struggle if you do not know how to balance your inner mind.

At times you may also need more than just you to achieve those goals, you may need some people who will remind you or encourage you to keep on with the implementation of the goal you set at the very beginning.

The mind of a person is the most deceitful part of the body. We process thoughts in our mind from time to time and our mind can travel from here to there with both negative and positive thoughts.

Being able to maintain positive thoughts always is the key to maintaining a healthy and balanced inner strength.

The instability of a person’s mind is not only from external sources but also mainly from the internal source which explains why one must always think positively, especially when implementing a goal.

Some of the external sources that hinder people from achieving certain goals are due to old and unhealthy habits that they have been accustomed to. It may be an unhealthy relationship or an unhealthy lifestyle as examples and this can be frustrating.

Achieving your goals does not have to be that frustrating if you have the right tool to guide you as you implement your goals.

To start with you must understand yourself and know how your mind works, this way the first step to implementing your goals will be to create an healing within your own mind.

You have to establish the fact that you can do it before even starting. Establishing the fact that you can do something can sparkle something in you that brings the best out of you.

Being an author of five books, I can definitely say that procrastination is a hinder to achieving goals and one of the ways to getting rid of postponing things and getting rid of bad habits is the use of Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).

NLP is the collective use of unique mental tools that can help you train your mind. NLP may be used to form a deep and meaningful relationship with others, enhancing the way you relate and communicate with them.

NLP may help you renew your mind slowly, helping you turn those bad habits into good ones. NLP is a master-mind series tool that will help you master your own mind. It will help you alter how you feel about yourself and what you intend doing. It will allow you to experience positivity internally and the way you view the outside world.

NLP is not a new tool, it has been around since the late nineties, created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California.

NLP can help you:

Change your emotional state.

Overcome fears, phobias or frustrations.

Change bad habits quickly.

Communicate effectively.

Renew your mind to change your future.

Heal a pain from your past.

Everyone has got a potential within, and you have to be able to access your own potential from within without stress. Once you are able to identify your own potentials then, you will be able to overcome the limitations and mental blocks that hinder you from achieving your goals.

Just like me, I am sure that you also have been trying your very best in life, trying to achieve all of your goals. You also like me may also have faced a certain setback due to various circumstances and choices like missing to identify who you really are.

How we perceive the world is what we will get from the world. As Louise Hay used to say, you have to be open to the universe to receive from the universe. If you view the universe as being static, then you will most likely not get anything out of it.

To get love, you must show love, to get wisdom, you must apply wisdom, to get rich you must also be willing to give. Anything that God has given to you such as love, wisdom, riches or love you must use well. You see, in life anything you give you will get back and in abundance.

You need the world around you and sometimes it can be difficult to change the world around you. In the world that is constantly changing you need a great deal of time and effort to change you and the world around you.
