Success is not just ego-based. There are certain practices that determine that one may be successful in life. Some that have been useful to me is knowing that:

Success is acknowledging God

I connect to God which is, connecting to a greater power than me.

This gives me a fresh start for the day and something to rely on which will keep my day functional and fruitful.

People have various ways of connecting with their higher spiritual being, some meditate while some pray. I have found out that praying and connecting with my God early before I start my day, guides my steps throughout the day.

Connecting to God before the start of your day, will help you remove self-pride. It will also help you to be authentic and clear.

Create a practice that is God fearing and suitable for you, one that you truly enjoy and your day will kick off in a wonderful way.

Success is acknowledging who you are

Knowing who you are is essential to success. It is acknowledging the true you.

Knowing who you are is identifying with God because He created you. When you identify with who you are, then you are able to truly love yourself and what you do.

Acknowledging your true self and connecting with your creator will give you confidence. You will be brave, joyful, and resilient in difficult times.

Difficult times can lead to failure or rejection and acknowledging yourself with the word of God can make you bounce back from rejection or failure.

You have to listen to the wisdom of your heart and say YES to what you feel is sacred.

Success is daring to be more of who you are

To be great in life, you have to know who you are.

You are your own hero or heroine. Agnone who tries to do something new, of value and of service to humankind is a hero or heroine.

To be successful, you have to be eager to grow beyond your self-image. You have to be able to step into your real purpose.

Part of stepping into more of who you are is, forgiving your past, and dropping any shame associated with your past.

You have to learn from your past and not dwell on your past, and you will be free to step more fully into the present you.

Success is choosing love over fear

It is biased to say that people who are successful never feel or fear, never lack confidence, or never fail.

Success is not about not feeling. It is about dealing with fear and failure in an honest and healthy way. To fear is to love.

In other words, when you are afraid, it’s a sign to dismiss fear and choose love.

Take a look at yourself and ask yourself: “What is the most loving thing that I can be doing for myself right now? “

Another common myth is that people who become successful in life do have a perfect track record, a perfect resume, have made no mistakes, no failures, no divorces, no dismissals, no bad hair days as examples. Not really.

Everyone has got some kind of life issues to deal with and that should not get in your way to succeeding in life.

You can only expect to experience a whole new level of inspiration and success, if you chose to tackle your life issues and move on to a platform of success than stay still, getting comfortable with your problems.

Success is not doing it alone

To succeed in life, you have to be able to attract great mentors, coaches and teachers.

To be that successful you, you have to be willing to have relationships. You need to be accommodating, open-minded and non-judgmental. You have to be open to receive what you are giving out.

Success is knowing yourself, knowing how what you love doing will serve the world. Knowing what good success is, will help you to live with a vision and mission.

It will help you to identify, honour and share your natural gifts with the world around you.

Real success isn’t selfish and self-centered, it is about service. Your success is how you love and serve the world.

I am Titilope, lately, I have been calling myself Queen T. Yes, you may call me a Queen. How do you see yourself and what do you call yourself?

I am here to feed your soul just the way I feed mine.

To be spiritually fit is to be holistically prosperous.

       Isaiah 43:2

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.
