NO TURNING BACK
How can you make a change in the world around you by impacting the people that cross your path? How can you touch those who think that they are untouchable and reach out to those who seem unreachable?
There is only one simple answer which is to change you, touch yourself and reach out to yourself and the most of all, do not look back. Commit to following Jesus wholeheartedly, develop a Christ-like attitude, and never look back.
Nothing in your past can truly give you peace than what you currently have. Only the truth of Jesus Christ can give you peace and only that true peace can allow you to remain in the presence of God so committ to following Jesus.
I sometimes struggle with trying not to look back and they are a lot of people that struggle with that too but I keep reminding myself when I want to slip into the past that “I have decided to follow Jesus, No turning back! No turning back!”
Sometimes you really do not need to scream out the gospel, your lifestyle is an evangelism and it is enough to change people around you, people can always pick up that something has changed about you and around you, so focus on you and the love that Christ has for you and let your lifestyle and works do the rest.
Revelation 3:15-19 The Message (MSG)
“I know you inside and out, and find little to my liking. You’re not cold, you’re not hot—far better to be either cold or hot! You’re stale. You’re stagnant. You make me want to vomit. You brag, ‘I’m rich, I’ve got it made, I need nothing from anyone,’ oblivious that in fact you’re a pitiful, blind beggar, threadbare and homeless.
“Here’s what I want you to do: Buy your gold from me, gold that’s been through the refiner’s fire. Then you’ll be rich. Buy your clothes from me, clothes designed in Heaven. You’ve gone around half-naked long enough. And buy medicine for your eyes from me so you can see, really see.
“The people I love, I call to account—prod and correct and guide so that they’ll live at their best. Up on your feet, then! About face! Run after God!

You cannot afford to be hot today, lukewarm tomorrow and cold the next day, you have to remain hot on fire for a transformation that will begin with you. To have a lasting impression on the people that cross your path and for the Gospel's sake, we must desire and be committed to be on fire for God and then be able to last in our faithfulness to the Lord.
Your life is a story, a lesson, and a teacher, so the way you chose to live is the most tangible evidence and presentation of the Gospel to those who are around you and to those who do not yet know the Lord.
Yesterday, the enemy tried and I just wanted to sneak back into the past with just a simple phone call but we all have the ability to seek God and resist the enemy. Our ability to always resist the enemy is a blessing and a direct correlation on our effectiveness in ministry and commitment to the Lord. And just in case you feel that this message seems to be only for those called to full-time ministry, it is not just for those that have been called into full ministry, It is for everyone.
The reason why you have to start with you is that you will be at some point in your life involved in roles that are pertaining to the government, education, media, health or one of the other mountains of culture and society and the only way to minister to them is to invite them into your life by the way you live your own life.
Jesus is the "Bread of Life” how can we possibly and practically commit to following Jesus wholeheartedly without fainting in faith? How can we develop Christ-like character and never look back at our past? The only way to do that is to bring the ways of the Kingdom to earth and transform the world around us starting with us and with our immediate environment. When we have chosen to be committed to something or someone, we are saying that despite all of our options we are making a quality choice with a Godly direction.
When we say “YES”, it means that we are saying “NO” to the things that do not line up with our developing Christ-like character. At this point in life, really and as Peter responded to Jesus in the scriptures "Lord, to whom shall we go?
