EXPOSE YOUR TALENTS AND BURY YOUR FEAR
If you cannot identify the miracle that you are, I can, this is because what I see in you is what I will become.
Be all that God wants you to be. You are more than you think you are, you were born and created by a Master planner and a creative God and you were made in His likeness. If your life does not prove that you are a rare gem and a chosen one, a “one of a kind” type of person, then begin in slow steps. Your little actions will lead you to giant steps and your breakthrough.
You have got all that it takes. You really do and you have got it all. Have you buried your gifts and talents? Has the devil been telling you lies and tricked you into burying your gifts and talents? Begin now, begin to dig in slowly and ensure that you shovel all of your dirt one at a time and begin to take Godly steps. The Parable of the Talents is a great parable that shows how those who use and invest in their gifts are gifted with more and the one that buried his talent due to fear did not gain anything and even the talent he was gifted with was taken away.
MY TALENTS AND GIFTS ARE MINE
Are they? No, they are not, it is from God and for the people God wants you to give them to and share them with. God has blessed each person with various gifts and as chosen each person to be a steward of those gifts. You are also to give according to how much you have been blessed with. To whom much is given much is expected. Everyone will be accountable for each gift.
Who are the people God wants you to give and why?
You are expected to give because you have been chosen as a steward of that gift and trusted to give it. You are not to give for your selfish interest or so that the news can say that you have given, you are to give because you are responsible and will be accountable for how much you give and to whom you have given to. God wants us to give the elderly, the widows, the orphans, the vulnerable and sick.
Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour [a]into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38
A lot of people want wealth, wisdom, good health and whatever the desires of their hearts are. Nations also want peace, they want to fight terrorism and economy crisis to mention a few. The truth is that you have to give whatever you want. If you want peace, you have to give peace.
Nations can never win terrorism with a terrorist act, nations can only win terrorism with an act of love and peace. In the same way, individually, if you want peace, give love and peace, if you want money, give money even from the little you have, if you want good health, care for people’s health. Don’t wait till you have so much because all my Father is doing is testing us. If we cannot be faithful with little, we will not be given so much.
Also be mindful of what you desire, if you do not align your thoughts with the thoughts of God and desire what God desires, your desires may not be fulfilled and if they are fulfilled with selfish interest and selfish act, it will make no impact. It is like having a vision with no insight. The only way to agree with God is to know what God wants and the only way to know what God wants is to meditate and seek what God is saying. Anyone, any community and any nation that lacks in wisdom should ask God and it shall be given.
The wisdom of God gives Godly insight in what to do, how to shape policy and how to live a good life. Are you surrounded with the people that align their thoughts with God or are you surrounded with the blind? As they say a one eyed man is always a king in the country of the blind. Only God and those that align with God can give with no selfish interest because they understand Heaven's language.
If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of [a]the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. James 1:5
God is so simple, I used to be scared of this whole spiritual thing but all that God wants and appreciates is that heartfelt simple prayer with no complications. God wants your pure heart, that is why if you do something with an ulterior motive God sees you and will judge you based on what you do and based on what is in your heart and not how you present yourself from the outside.
God wants us to do all that we do genuinely with love, God wants us to work from a place of rest as He does through us. The desire of any individual, community, and nation should be based on what God desires and to show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope and to ensure that in whatever you do, you do not become sluggish, selfish but to simply imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises of God. Hebrews 6:11-12
