I see myself as a beautiful garden that flourishes and nourishes on the earth. let us call the earth Eden. If you rearrange the word Heart by removing the letter H at the beginning of the word and place it at the end. you will have Earth. No wonder the Heart is a prerequisite for survival on the Earth.
The heart is the first organ to be formed in the human body and when the heart stops, life stops, all dreams stop and all hope is gone. See the beautiful heart in the human body as a tree of life that supplies blood to the body with the ability to maintain breathing and being. And if we connect that, we can say that our heart is the tree of life in us, and we, the gardens are supposed to be flourished and nourished by the supplies of the heart.
In our beautiful garden is this tree of life, also is the tree of knowledge of good and of evil. I like to say that in our heart also, is our thoughts both evil and good. It baffles me that the Bible also says that there was a river that went out of Eden to water the garden, our beautiful garden and there it parted and became four river heads and when I quickly looked at the anatomy of the heart I could connect that our beautiful tree of life the heart has also got four chambers. They look like a river of blood vessels supplying the body for its survival.

The heart indeed has got four chambers, two atria, and two ventricles. The right atrium receives oxygen-poor blood from the body and pumps it to the right ventricle, the right ventricle pumps the oxygen-poor blood to the lungs and the left atrium receives oxygen-rich blood from the lungs and pumps it to the left ventricle. How amazing is the organ heart that needs to be protected if we must truly survive?
The heart truly needs to be protected. It can be protected physically and spiritually. Physically, we can protect and maintain a healthy heart by what we eat and how much we exercise, we can also maintain the integrity of our heart spiritually by feeding it with the word of God and as we feed it with the word of God we slowly take an inventory of our thoughts and gradually begin to replace bad thoughts with the words and promises of God.
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. Proverbs 23 (AMPC)
God wants us to be watchful over our heart because the matter of the heart is the heart of the matter and the heart is where our story begins in life.
Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life. Proverbs 4:23
What have you stored up in your heart? Whatever you allow in your heart will affect what you say, what you do and how you make decisions that will affect your entire life.
The upright (honorable, intrinsically good) man out of the good treasure [stored] in his heart produces what is upright (honorable and intrinsically good), and the evil man out of the evil storehouse brings forth that which is depraved (wicked and intrinsically evil); for out of the abundance (overflow) of the heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:45

Allow Jesus into your heart today and make your tree of life nourish and flourish so that you will live a purposeful life.
I the Lord search the mind, I try the heart, even to give to every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 17:10
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him. 2 Chronicles 16:9
