Why has your countenance fallen?

The story of the two brothers Cain and Abel is a great lesson for all. Why should your countenance fall? If you do good will you not get a good reward from God. Jealousy, envy, lack of contentment and disobedience are all reasons someone will not get what his heart desires from God. You have to be humble, be truthful and worship God whether you like it or not or whether your prayers have been answered or not.

Why will a person kill another? Why did Cain murder Abel his own brother? Abel was a sheep keeper while his brother Cain was a ground tiller. Cain brought to the Lord the fruits of the ground he had tilled while Abel also brought to the Lord the firstborn of his flock and their fat.

The Lord respected and accepted Abel’s offering and Cain his brother was very angry and jealous, and the Lord said to Cain, if you do well, will you also not be accepted and if you refuse to do well, sin lies at your door.

Eventually out of jealousy, Abel was murdered by Cain and when the Lord asked him, he stated that he was not his brother’s keeper and the Lord said to Cain whenever you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. A fugitive and vagabond you shall be on the earth.

Cain was so sad and afraid and wondered what people would do, Cain feared that people would do onto him what he did to his brother but the Lord said to Cain again that whoever kills Cain regardless of what he did shall have vengeance on him by sevenfold.

FORGIVE AND FORGET

Have you been badly hurt by the people you most trusted? Don’t worry at all, just let go and let God, forgive and forget and keep on keeping on. When you forgive those that hurt you and bless them with your prayers, you will become free and able to be who God has created you to become. Anger, hatred and lack of forgiveness are like weights of unnecessary burden that holds one back from stepping into one’s purpose of existence.

We are not to judge anyone including those who hurt us because if we do we too will be judged. Whenever I find myself judging someone, I instantly pick up that there is still something I have to learn either about a particular person or a particular situation and I have come to relaise that the responsibility will be mine to maintain the integrity of my own heart and compose myself regardless of who the person is and what situation it is. I believe that if you take care of yourself and manage yourself exceptionally well, you can manage the world around you.

“Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults— unless, of course, you want the same treatment. That critical spirit has a way of boomeranging. It’s easy to see a smudge on your neighbor’s face and be oblivious to the ugly sneer on your own. Do you have the nerve to say, ‘Let me wash your face for you,’ when your own face is distorted by contempt? It’s this whole traveling road-show mentality all over again, playing a holier-than-thou part instead of just living your part. Wipe that ugly sneer off your own face, and you might be fit to offer a washcloth to your neighbor." Matthew 7:1-5The Message (MSG)

There is no way you will not know if you have truly hurt someone even if you pretend as if you do not know what is happening. To you too, you can be set free. All you need is to confess your sins to God who saw you when you did what and to who even if you think no one saw you and you feel like you can always go away free like you always do. Here is good news for you, you also can humble yourself before the Lord and confess, accept Jesus Christ into your life and be free forever.

And to those that hav been hurt, the Lord says:

Don’t hit back; discover beauty in everyone. If you’ve got it in you, get along with everybody. Don’t insist on getting even; that’s not for you to do. “I’ll do the judging,” says God. “I’ll take care of it.” Romans 12:19The Message (MSG)

I am Titilope, lately, I have been calling myself Queen T. Yes, you may call me a Queen. How do you see yourself and what do you call yourself?

I am here to feed your soul just the way I feed mine.

To be spiritually fit is to be holistically prosperous.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.
