Fulfillment
Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19.
Forget about the old because everything about you is going to be as fresh as a daisy. It is not by might, neither is it by power but by the Spirit of the Lord. The Lord is taking you higher and into new places. These new places are going to birth fresh reaping and fulfillment in your life.
Yes, it is a vision and it is from God but the way and manner that it will take place are not up to you, God will be in charge of the moving, shifting, closing of old doors and the opening of new doors that no man can shut.
And the key of the house of David I will lay upon his shoulder; he shall open and no one shall shut, he shall shut and no one shall open. Isaiah 22:22​
Sometimes we peep into the old, trying to do new things with the old method but that will not work because God’s plans are higher than ours and if we keep trusting in the Lord, everything will work together for good because we do love God sincerely.
He told them a [a]proverb also: No one puts a patch from a new garment on an old garment; if he does, he will both tear the new one, and the patch from the new [one] will not match the old [garment]. Luke 5:36
The new season that you are stepping into will look nothing like the old so don’t try mixing and matching the old with the new, stay and remain fresh. You cannot just make up your mind one day to do something new, you need the anointing of God to bring Heaven down to earth and the transition from old to new will be nothing you ever expected.
Stepping out from the old into the new can be challenging and awkward, it also can stretch you to strengthen you because it reveals your weakness and turns them into your strengths. As they say experience is the best teacher so your well laid brilliant idea or plan may not work. As you step from old into new also step into the flow of the Holy Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit be the light to your path and the lamp to your feet.
Following the lead of the Holy Spirit shows your maturity in the Spirit which is why you cannot continue with religion with its format and rituals which are there merely to avoid offense. The way and lead of the Holy Spirit on the other hand will go against your earthly or carnal way of thinking bringing you to a higher level of thinking.
One of the reasons why people remain in the old is because they want to know why, they always question God. Only if people can just let go and allow God to fulfill His promise. Only God speaks without changing His words, God is not like a man with his feeble words and lies. God’s promises for us is always sure and what we do not expect so we need to be ready to go with the flow of God's moving. We need to have faith and be hopeful for what is to coome just as Abraham did when God said that he will become the father of many nations.
[For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall your descendants be. Romans 4:18.
Having faith means that we are hoping to receive the unseen. Beyond human reasoning.
Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. Hebrews 11:1
The natural always wants to prove and always want an evidence to show but you can never comprehend what God is doing, you will get tired of it. Abraham could not count the stars and it was almost impossible in the natural for him to become the father of many nations and of course he was left with no option but to put his trust and expectation in the Lord.
Where there is no vision the people perish and where there is no prophetic insight people give up because of lack of self-control. Without self-control people go tired and can no longer wait to reap what God has for them. Everyone loves to receive their promise but will not like the process. To receive God's promise, you must enjoy the process.
Never be afraid of the new, be open and let your heart be pure to receive the new. Being pure in the heart is being free from all self-agenda and yielding to the real and authentic. Only God anoints the authentic, God gives an approval of you advancing His kingdom here on earth. Authenticity is courage and you have to be courageous. Be real, be fresh and be new. Our uniqueness is from God. Do not be afraid to speak about the glory of God and to show forth His glory.
