THE LOVE CIRCLE

God has so much love for us which is why He wants us never to depart from His words.

His loving words reflects His love for us, His children. When you listen to the news today most of what you hear is bad news which is happening around us and of course, the enemy wants us to hear it because it will only put anger, hatred and fear in the hearts of people. Are you a carrier of good news or bad news?

let me tell you, a lot of good things are also happening around us, there is real love and there is real peace in our homes and we need to start sharing the goodness of God, we need to start encouraging others to come to Jesus so that they may experience the real meaning of unconditional love.

What is unconditional love? It is love, yet it is pain but it brings true peace and harmony. What do I mean? Do you not see how unfaithful you have been to God who created you and has kept you alive? Do you not see how you miss to appreciate Him always and when trouble comes you run to Him and He accepts you yet again with arms wide open? Do you not think that, that is painful to God?

Take a look at our children, how often do they get on our nerves and even hurt us without them even knowing that they have hurt us, yet we love them still and show them love and shower them with our gifts. In the same way, you are hurting God by not acknowledging Him and by not obeying His commands, yet He loves us all and has His arms wide open ready for when we run to Him.

Also, regardless of what we may have done, He is ready and has even forgiven us by the blood of Jesus. So you see love is pure, love is real and yet it is painful but in the end, it brings peace.

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. John 3:16

When you offer real love to people these days, they become scared because they do not have real love and have never experienced one before. To offer real love you have to have it, you cannot offer what you do not have. Only God has true love.

To claim the love of God, you have to first believe that there is God, secondly, you have to accept the love He has offered you and to top it all you also have to release the love of God within you to the outside world. The world cries for peace when there is no peace in their own hearts and in their own homes.

The only way to release God's love is to possess it, release it to your immediate environment before you release it to the world around you.

And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. This is the first and principal commandment. The second is like it and is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.

Mark 12:30-31.

There is nothing you do on this earth that matters if you do not love unconditionally. You can only love if you obey God's commands and Jesus Christ whom the Father sent to us stated that these commandments above are the greatest. Have you learnt to love or are you still bitter?

LOVE GOD

The first greatest commandment is to love God, most people do love God but deep down in their hearts, there is anger, hatred, fear, jealousy, envy, pride, selfishness to name a few and If you have all these then you will not give room to understand the love of God, you need a pure heart to connect with the love of God and with only a pure heart will you understand what He is doing and His character.

When bad things happen, people quickly give up or give judgement. God is good and all that He does is good. If anything bad happens you have the power to reject it and send it back to where it belongs, you have to align with God and say that with your mouth, declare it saying, that is not what God is saying. This is where the enemy tricks people. If you do not know the word of God how will you reject the enemy and declare the love and word of God over your life?

I have come to understand that all the bad times and situations that I have experienced have happened for a reason and for a short season and they have helped me to develop strength in my weaknesses, those situations have been like a boot camp training and if I had failed or died in it, I will not be here telling my story or encouraging others.

Though some of the experiences have been painful, it has opened my eyes to who people are, people are exactly who the Bible says they are, never to put your trust in men or in princes but in only God. I pray never to experience them again, but they happen and should be corrected so that it never happens again and more so to show that only God will take His glory.

I have come to also understand that everyone will get tired but only God's love will remain tireless and effortless, this is why you desperately need God's love. God is love.

He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. 1 John 4:8

LOVE OTHERS

The second greatest kind of love that Jesus mentioned was to love your neighbours just as yourself, Jesus was not talking about only those that were Christians or believers, He was referring to everybody including those of different religions, values, and beleifs.

All Jesus was trying to convey to others is to love unconditionally, be patient, be kind, and to have endurance. Do not let the beliefs and ways of other people put you off. If you can love yourself just the way you are, why don't you love others just as they are regardless of their religion, and ways of life? If we can truly love this way, showing agape love, then there will be a reduction in stress, depression, anxiety, dideases, terrorism, and war. Think deeply about this.

LOVE YOURSELVES

The other kind of love that Jesus also talked about is to love yourself just the way God has created you. People who do not love themselves or do not know or have an identity in Christ think small of themselves. love yourself but do not be selfish and self-centered otherwise, you will end up being proud. There has to be a balance and if you love God and have God's love, God will teach you how to balance His love. Remember that God balances His love among all of us, imagine how many of us live on earth? almost countless and yet my Father in heaven loves us all without partiality.

For God shows no partiality, undue favor or unfairness; with Him one man is not different from another.

Romans 2:11

To love others just the way God loves us is the true power and revelation that will truly transform our lives and indeed change the world.

I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another. This is My commandment: that you love one another just as I have loved you. No one has greater love, no one has shown stronger affection than to lay down, give up his own life for his friends. You are My friends if you keep on doing the things which I command you to do.
