JOY AT LAST

This is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
for this day is holy to our Lord. And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold. Nehemiah 8:10
The joy of the Lord is our strength and singing it out is not by our might but by the Spirit of the Lord. It is a gift. Trusting in only the Lord God is a strength, He is our refuge and our avenger and when we trust in Him, we have peace and joy. The evidence of peace and joy despite all the plans of the enemy is the evidence that God is with us. He is Emmanuel.
Having joy is a weapon against the enemy and true joy can never be faked. God wants everyone to have His joy. God wants everyone to come and rest in Him and meet Him through Christ Jesus. As children of God, you should call others to experience this joy through God's voice and not through the voice of the world. This is how others can find and live an abundant life, through Jesus Christ, the prince of peace Himself.
Our joy is a reminder and sign that we are grateful for all that God has done for us through Jesus Christ. Joy does not come from any man, not from our husbands, wives, friends, neighbours, jobs and title. Joy is from the Lord, it is the end result of us trusting wholeheartedly in the Lord God Almighty.
If you fix your eyes on Jesus and trust in the Lord completely, you won't find the time to point out the wrong doings of others, you won't experience jealousy, envy hatred and you will not find yourself judging another. God is the judge of all.
Joy cannot be explained naturally, it is a spiritual experience, and even though man tries to find the evidence and answers to everything, man will only have to accept Jesus Christ into their hearts and experience this love and joy that everyone is talking about. It is priceless. Your joy is your proof and witness that the Lord is in you.
People need joy in their lives, even the heavens wait to see people rejoice. There is a non-stop celebration and there is continuous worship in heaven. Angels are also tuning in to hear you praise and worship God for when you worship deeply, Angels are released on your behalf to get what you cannot do physically done spiritually. Never keep your joy in, let it out. Praise our Father in heaven.
Now this expression, Yet once more, indicates the final removal and transformation of all that can be shaken that is, of that which has been created in order that what cannot be shaken may remain and continue. Hebrews 12:27
The grass withers, the flower fades, when the breath of the Lord blows upon it, surely all the people are like grass. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. Isaiah 40:7-8
Because of this, brethren, be all the more solicitous and eager to make sure to ratify, to strengthen, to make steadfast your calling and election, for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall. Thus there will be richly and abundantly provided for you entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:10-11
Everything that needs to be shaken will be shaken but those that put their trust in the Lord God will continually rejoice in the Lord. Look around you, the world around you is unsteady and not safe but the Almighty, the Sovereign Lord of all encourages us and wants us to seek refuge in Him.
Joy is a very strong spiritual anchor. It holds together through storms and floods of all kinds of difficulties. It keeps you calm and steady even when the enemy has no job but to upset you. The joy of the Lord removes doubt, it removes fear and it gives strength and love. Joy gives peace and stability and even if all things look unstable, the joy of the Lord reassures that all things work together for the good of the people that love and trust in God.
Where do you derive your joy from? Joy is not for sale, you cannot simply get it from anyone as a gift, it is a gift from the Lord and you can only find it from the prince of peace, Jesus. Ask God for joy, pray with a willing and receiving heart. Only your faith will allow you receive that which you have prayed for.
REJOICE INTO THE NEW
This is the season to be blessed and only joy can move you into that season. The word of the Lord is as sweet as honey and suiting, and only the word of God can give joy instead of the pain that the world is offering.
Joy gives you a reason to hope agin, it gives you an inner eye to see with the eyes of God, and to have a purpose. Joy catapults you from the old into the new by lifting the weight of the former. Joy is the prerequisite into the new thing that God is doing in your life right now. Rejoice therefore and be glad in the Lord.
Joy lifts the unnecessary weight of burden on our shoulders. Joy is focusing on God instead of focusing on your daily routines. When you focus on God, then you will prove yourself that God does supply our every need like He promised. God is ever faithful to His words. He cares so much about us and loves us. He has our interest at heart so we also ought o have His interest at heart.
Peace I leave with you; My own peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled. John 14:27
There is joy in knowing that God is more than able to provide for our every need in abundance and in excess, allowing our cups to fill and even overflow. If you indeed seek first the kingdom of God, all the rest of your needs shall be added onto you. What are your needs today? When you have the joy and love of our Father in heaven, what the world considers to be needed and necessary will mean absolutely nothing to us. When you rest in these things, you will certainly have joy. Joy is not just happiness, it is not temporary contentment, it is lasting trust in the Lord God Almighty.
Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy, anxious and worried about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink, or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater in quality than food, and the body far above and more excellent than clothing? Matthew 6:25
When you have the joy of the Lord, you will never worry about provisions instead you will focus on the things of God and His people. Releasing your own joy is part of the strategic plan of God in this season but God has to train us first so that we do not love the needs but the giver of all things working to advance His kingdom. Seek God's kingdom and you will have joy and peace. All the afflictions of this world can never overcome God's joy.
Open your heart today, have true peace and joy, be joyful in the Lord.
