VICTORY
Because of faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encompassed for seven days by the Israelites. Hebrews 11:30
What is the Jericho in your life? You need faith to pull it down. According to the scriptures, with a shout of faith, the walls of Jericho was pulled down. The loud shout of the upright in heart and steadfast is the opposite of a wavering faith.
We need to shout a shout of faith to pull down anything contrary to what God has in store for us and shout forth the promises that God has for us. A great shout of faith is better and more effective than doubt. Most people pray and claim the promises that God has for them but they lack in faith because they refuse to exercise the faith that they have in them.
When they make a long blast with the ram’s horn and you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the enclosure shall fall down in its place and the people shall go up [over it], every man straight before him. Joshua 6:5
Jesus already won on our behalf and has the victory but we have to claim it by faith. You need only a faith as small as a mustard seed to make things happen in your life. We need to trust in the word of God and stand on the word of God. When you have the word of God as your affirmation, then it will remind you whenever it is needed and the word of God in you will not be void but do that which it is supposed to do.
And the Lord answered, If you had faith (trust and confidence in God) even so small like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, Be pulled up by the roots, and be planted in the sea, and it would obey you. Luke 17:6
God answers prayers of faith, He does not answers prayers made in doubt so when you pray, believe that your prayers have been answered and continue in faith with thanksgiving. With faith in God, the impossible can be made possible. What walls are holding you back today? Is it fear, sickness, financial problem, family problems or work problems. Take your rightful place as a child of God and begin to make your request known to God with faith and with thanksgiving.
With God all things are possible and it is by faith that we can truly worship God.
But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must necessarily believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him out. Hebrews 11:6
Most people want to prove things and see things for themselves before they can actually believe it. In the scriptures, Thomas was one of them, It was not that Thomas was not a good man or that he did not love God, he just simply did not believe that Jess Christ had been raised from the dead without actually seeing him in real life. But Jesus told Thomas to put his finger in the holes in His hands and to put his hands in Jesus's side where the spear had pierced him and when Thomas did as he was told he finally believed that Jesus had risen from the dead.
Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas, do you now believe (trust, have faith)? Blessed and happy and to be envied are those who have never seen Me and yet have believed and adhered to and trusted and relied on Me. John 20:29
Are you going through difficult times and you need a miracle or a breakthrough? The word of God is an affirmation and with different lessons to prove that His words are living and active. Have you forgotten about the Israelites, how God saved them when they were trapped between the army and the sea? They had nowhere to run to but God showed His wonder and saved them through His miraculous acts. So believe today and ask God for anything in prayer and with faith and believe that what you asked for shall be and come to pass.
For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe, trust and be confident that it is granted to you, and you will get it. Mark 11:24
The same power that parted the sea still remains the same, you just have to beleive it to receive it.
