WALK WITH GOD

Yes, though I walk through the deep, sunless valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod to protect and Your staff to guide, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

Sometimes life can be hard and it may feel like the children of God are walking through the valley of the shadow of death or it may be that they have been saved by the power of Christ a few times. You are encouraged today because the Lord God is saying to you that you will only walk through it and He will be with you.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you. Isaiah 43:2

Valleys are the times where we have to pass through difficult situations but that is not the end of the person facing the trails. Valleys are seasons of testing and proving of faith. Such seasons can be painful and frustrating but the children of the Lord have to wait and see what God is going to do by exercising their faith. If we trust in the Lord with all of our heart and lean not on our own understanding, God's rod and staff will comfort us and see us through in Jesus name. Amen.

Beauty arises from ashes. Sometimes you will have to find the depth of the goodness of God in deepest valleys. In such times, you will have to embrace struggle and discomfort to finally get comfortable. The depth of God cannot be found in comfort, strength is derived from weaknesses and if we rebuke our weakness, We will never gain our strengths.

Your valley is where your lilies will bloom, Lilies are sweet and full of sweet and fresh aroma with a strong and unique scent. They are pure and they are beautiful. Their distinct pure white colour cannot be compared with any other flower.

And just as lilies are fruitful, will all that put their trust in the Lord God Almighty be fruitful in Jesus name. Amen. Lilies have one root and they are able to bring forth fifty bulbs. It is also one of the tallest of all flowers that bow its head down and low. And if we are rooted only in the love of God through Christ and bow our heads, that is humble ourselves before God and before men, we will certainly be what God wants us to be beyond human imagination.

WINE AND DINE

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil, my brimming cup runs over. Psalm 23:5

Even though your toughest times will be in the valley, you will celebrate even with those that opposed you strongly almost to the point of death. So you see, it will be in Jesus character for you to love your enemies and pray for them to live to see that glorious day when you will tell your trials and your testimonies.

You will have enemies and oppositions when you want to do something great. There will be great winds of opposition through violence and with voices so loud telling the children of God to step away from their throne and destiny path.

But GOD sited on His Mighty throne will be the very one who will set a table right in front of your enemies, those that violently attacked you, those who stole your true identity and attacked the children of God in different ways. God will also be the one who will decorate this glorious table Himself, He will determine the menu, and fill the cup with wine for His children to dine with Him. Yes! Right in front of their enemies. so all you have to do is to make sure that you do not stain the cloth that God has dressed you in and to remain in His presence always with thanksgiving and with fullness of joy.

It is at this table that God's unshakeable Kingdom will forge out of His children, and at that table is also where God's children will display the power of God, the power of His Holy communion, and the power of His bread and wine. All of these will show the relationship between the Father and His children, demonstrating that they have been under the shadow of the God Almighty where the hands of the enemy will never reach them.

Never focus on the opposition, never bring yourself as low as the enemy is, raise your head and focus on what matters to you. Instead, find rest in the presence of God and access the peace and joy that the enemy lacks. Teach the enemy how to spend their time on love rather than on destruction.

Drink from the fountains of God and eat His word and even in your struggles, you will be fruitful, you will not be moved because you have been forged in the fire of God.

In this season children of God stay firm and endure God's fire for when you have been filled with God's fire, the fire of the enemy will never be able to stand before the fire of God. No earthly kingdom will have the power to shake God's kingdom, everything that needs to be shaken will be shaken, but Gods kingdom will remain standing to His glory.

Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken, offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship, with modesty and pious care and godly fear and awe,

For our God [is indeed] a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:28-29

You should be exceedingly glad on this account, though now for a little while you may be distressed by trials and suffer temptations, 1 Peter 1:6

We must be true worshipers of God, in good times and in bad times. Don't be that person that only appreciates God in good times or will only praise God when He gives us whatever we want? God is looking for His true worshipers, those that will worship Him whether they are in the mood to do so or not.

Your trials and difficulties will only prove how faithful and genuine you are. Difficulties will help to exercise your faith and shake unbelief out of your heart, trials prove our YES to God and His AMEN to us.

Do you know that if you embrace your difficulties, you can flourish in them? Of course, you can, depending on how you respond to them. God is not inflicting His children to kill them, they are only discovering exactly who they are, they begin to tap into what they never knew existed in them and as they allow God to refine them in His fire they will become like trees planted by streams of waters that bear its fruits in due season with leaves that never wither.

Most blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is.

For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8

Your fruits will come when you surrender all to God and not to man. So never fight God's process, never question God, just yield to God and see what God will do. There will always be trials and all the Lord is teaching His children is to be peaceful and joyful in such situations that the enemy will wonder and be amused to the glory of God.

Allowing God to have His way will give God the chance to do what God wants to do in your life but not yielding to the prompts of God will delay His process. You cannot time God, God's time is the best and all the children of God have to do is to hope in God for the hope of God never disappoints.

Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4.
