THE POWER OF TOUNGES

When we speak in tounges, we release the power of the Holy Spirit. When we speak in tounges, we also release the angels to go on our behalf and have God do what we cannot do in the natural. The Holy Spirit is more than just a friend.

But the Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby, the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name, in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf, He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.John 14:26

If they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord Jesus Christ. This is because with the gift of the Holy Spirit that people receive through Christ people are able to judge things and for some, they are sited right on the same throne as Christ and as people crucify such people they also crucify Christ.

The gift of the Holy Spirit is not by doing good to people or being nice, friendly or believing that one deserves it for some kind of works. The gift of the Holy Spirit is given even when people do not deserve it but through believing that Christ died for our sins so that people can have a life. It is the faith to believe this that will bring the gift of the Holy Spirt.

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever—John 14:16

Not because of works, not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands, lest any man should boast. It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself. Ephesians 2:9.

What happens when people speak in tounges? If you go back to the scriptures where those who were in the upper room were baptised with the Holy Spirit. Some thought they were drunk while some who were not of the same native language could understand what they were saying. When the children of God speak in tounges, power is distributed to them through the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

And when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all assembled together in one place,

When suddenly there came a sound from heaven like the rushing of a violent tempest blast, and it filled the whole house in which they were sitting.

And there appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were separated and distributed and which settled on each one of them.

And they were all filled (diffused throughout their souls) with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other (different, foreign) languages (tongues), as the Spirit [a]kept giving them clear and loud expression [in each tongue in appropriate words]. Acts 2:1-4

No matter what language people speak in or no matter where people come from, people can still speak in the language of God when baptised in the Holy Spirit. When people allow the Holy Spirit to speak to them, He speaks to the angels assigned to them by God, it is these angels that will minister to the children of God accordingly. Seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit and ask for the fruits of the Holy Spirit. What are the fruits of the Holy Spirit?

But the fruit of the Holy Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness. Galatians 5:22

Therefore, the person who speaks in an [unknown] tongue should pray [for the power] to interpret and explain what he says.

For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit [by the [a]Holy Spirit within me] prays, but my mind is unproductive [it bears no fruit and helps nobody].

Then what am I to do? I will pray with my spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me, but I will also pray [intelligently] with my mind and understanding; I will sing with my spirit by the Holy Spirit that is within me, but I will sing [intelligently] with my mind and understanding also. 1 Corinthians 14:13-15

Only if the children of God can only see what happens in the spiritual realm when they pray in tounges, one would see angels stepping into their roles to do what God has ordered them to do. As you speak in tounges, each angel goes forth to do his work. Each spiritual tongue is designed and assigned to address a different angel.
